How to freight a rifle to us for gunsmithing using the DEALER TO DEALER NETWORK
Gunworks is part of the "Dealer to Dealer (D2D)" network. "D2D" has been set up as a network of independent firearm dealers you can use to send firearms throughout New Zealand.
How to send a firearm to us for gunsmithing using "D2D" network :
- Complete and enclose the “Gunworks work request form” (also located under “forms” on this website) with your rifle and package your rifle and label the parcel with our address.

- Pack your rifle into a box, bag or case, whatever you have that will help the rifle on its journey to us safely, make sure it is clearly addressed to Gunworks. The bare rifle is all that is required for the threading and fitting of the suppressor, we don’t need your scope or bolt, keep these items with you. If you have a suppressor, please ensure you put the suppressor in with your rifle as we will need it for fitting which is really important.
- Contact one of the Dealers listed below to find out their fee to send your firearm to us. Please make it VERY clear that you are using this dealer as part of the "Dealer to Dealer" network and that Gunworks is dealing with you directly and any payment for gunsmithing will be between you and us. The dealer is only organising the freight for you.
- We will return the firearm back to this Dealer upon completion and we will charge you $50 freight for the South Island or $60 for the North Island. The dealer receiving may have a pick up charge however most dealers do not.
