Overal Length 110mm, 1" external diameter and 1/2x28 thread

Just like the original Colt made device, this muzzle device only has a very slight moderating effect on noise reduction.

These would be ideal for building a .22 rimfire replica of the Colt XM177 Carbine.

If using just the muzzle brake, the noise will be amplified, if using the shroud/cover, the noise will reduce from an unsuppressed 22lr but only slightly, its more for looks than noise reduction.

Unlike the original devices, these muzzle devices can be disassembled for cleaning. Ideally the muzzle brake part would be permanently attached to the rifle thread by spanner (can be loctited) and the shroud with the slots can then be removed for cleaning the muzzle brake).
